How to Open the Gate Using Your Phone

Following you will find a Step-by-Step Setup Guide for installing the remote access Self Storage Tenant App on your phone:

  1. Click Here and select “Text Me the Tenant App.” When prompted, enter your cell number, and a text link will be sent directly to your phone. 
  2. Once you receive the text, click on the link and choose the “App Store” icon to download the app to your phone. (If you are not using an iphone, see alternate download options at the end of this email). 
  3. After the app has downloaded to your phone, open the app and enter your Spider ID Code/Location Code 353. When you get to the login screen, click “Create an Account.”
  4. Enter the email associated with your rental, a password of your choice, your assigned unit #, and gate code (this information was emailed to your immediately following confirmation of your online rental).
  5. If you’d like to set up Face ID, choose “Enable Face ID.”
  6. After setting up Face ID, you will be directed to the screen that gives you the option of opening the gate. Please note you must be near the facility for the gate to open. If you attempt to open it outside the designated area, you will receive an error message.
